Legalized Murder: Why it’s Still a Sin According to Scripture

According to Scripture The modern world has legalized acts that directly defy the Creator’s laws. Many justify them as rights, but SCRIPTURE calls them rebellion against divine order. This message is not a personal opinion- it is what the Hebrew Bible declares plainly.

  1. Suicide and Assisted Death According to Scripture, life belongs to God alone. Taking life-whether one’s own or another’s is stepping into His exclusive domain. Deuteronomy 32:39: “See now that I, even I, am He, and there is no god with Me; I put to death and I bring to life.I have wounded and I will heal, and there is none that can deliver out of My hand.”

In plain terms, God’s basically saying,”Look- it’s Me and only Me running the show. I have the power over life, death, sickness, and healing. Nobody can override what I decide”.

Man can’t claim control over his breath. When governments legalize assisted death, they do not grant “mercy”, they normalize what God (according to the Torah) calls sin.

2. Abortion In the eyes of The Creator, the unborn are not potential life-they are life. Legalized abortion defiles this truth. The commandment “You shall not murder” (Exodus 20:13) extends beyond the battlefield and into the womb. Exodus 21:22-23– If men strive, and hurt a woman with child so that her fruit depart, yet no harm follows, he shall be surely fined… but if harm follows, then you shall give life for life.

This passage is not about abortion, it is though saying that the fetus has value.

3. Cremation Cremation is completely against God. The Torah teaches that the body, formed by God, must be treated with honor even in death. Burning the body rejects the divine image within. Genesis 3:19 “For dust you are and to dust shall you return.” The command is to return to dust naturally, not by fire. Cremation is not reverence- it is spiritual destruction according to scripture. “Man was formed from the dust, he has no right to destroy the vessel God made.”

A FINAL WAKE-UP CALL

The laws of man may excuse what the laws of Heaven condemn. The world may call it progress, but God calls it defiance. Legal systems change with politics but Divine law does not. Those who choose man’s approval over God’s instruction choose rebellion over righteousness. Now is the time to WAKE UP. The judgment has already begun!

  1. The Angel of the Lord went up in the burned offering of Hanna …  to heaven . Together with the offered lamb. He gave ashes for beauty. All your points here are corrupt. This existence is death!!!

  2. mineaniculae, Hannah’s sacrifice illustrates devotion and obedience to God’s will- a consecration of life, not its destruction. Murder, even if legalized by human laws, forcibly ends innocent life and stands in moral opposition to the sacred value God places on life (according to scripture). To equate the two is a misunderstanding of both ethics and biblical teaching.

Do you even KNOW the story of Hannah? If not, let me teach you. Hannah was one of two wives of Elkanah. She couldn’t have children which caused her great sorrow. Each year she went with her husband to Shiloh to worship God and prayed for a son promising that if God gave her one she would dedicate him to the Lord’s service for life ( not kill him but dedicate him). God blessed her with a son and her dedication to God brought forth the prophet Samuel. Read 1 Samuel 1-2

You wrote, “He gave her ashes for beauty” that line comes from Psalm 30:11 and has ABSOLUTLEY NOTHING TO DO WITH HANNAH! In Psalm 30:11 David said,”You turned my mourning into dancing, you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy, that my heart may sing your praise and not be silent, O Lord my God, I will give you thanks forever”. Psalm 30:11 is poetic imagery describing God transforming mourning into joy. So while it’s a beautiful concept, it’s not literally part of Hannah’s story.
